GREENSBORO, NC, Sept. 23, 2009 ... Leading MRO Provider TIMCO Aviation Services announced today that the company has been awarded a seven-year B767-300 maintenance and modification contract from a European airline.

The award is a firm five-year agreement with a two-year option that secures hangar capacity at TIMCO’s Greensboro, North Carolina MRO location for all scheduled heavy maintenance and modifications. In the first year of the program TIMCO will also be installing APB B767 winglets and new in-flight entertainment systems on their B767 fleet.

Gene House, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of TIMCO Aviation Services, noted that, “The B767 is an aircraft that TIMCO has extensive experience and capability and this long term commitment takes optimum advantage of our ability to manage multiple line programs.” House went on to say that, “ TIMCO has provided MRO, engineering integration services and new passenger seats into the European Region.”
