TIMCO's Engine Center is located in a dedicated facility on the former Wurtsmith U.S. Air Force Base (decommissioned in 1993) in Oscoda, Michigan. The facility is FAA-certified (T48R384Y) and EASA-certified (EASA.145.5246), and is located about three hours north of Detroit and about a 45 minute drive from the Bishop International Airport in Flint.
The TIMCO Engine Center includes disassembly, repair and overhaul and parts inspection areas laid out on the work cell concept. In addition, the facility includes a stand alone test cell rated to 52,000 pounds of thrust and a separate engine and parts shipping, receiving and storage hangar.
