Registration Acknowledges the High Standards of the Company’s Quality Management Systems, Processes and Documentation Practices

27 April 2010—TIMCO Aerosystems, a subsidiary of TIMCO Aviation Services, was officially registered by KEMA with AS9001B certification, based on and including ISO 9001:2000.  The certification acknowledges that Aerosystems’ management systems, processes, documentation and internal audit practices meet or exceed global standards.

The registration was granted after the company successfully passed a series of audits and was verified by the independent KEMA organization for its engineering services, product manufacturing and for its certification services.

TIMCO Aerosystems President Rick Salanitri remarked, “Receiving this designation is an important assurance to our customers that we deliver our services and manufacture our products in ways that meet or exceed globally recognized standards.  We are proud of our internal processes and controls. We view AS9001B certification as an acknowledgement of the effort we put into our work every day.”

With the new certification, TIMCO Aerosystems joins Brice Seating and parent company TIMCO Aviation Services which had already been registered with the AS9001 certification.

TIMCO Aerosystems is one of a select few providers that can support its customers with a full spectrum of cabin solutions, from state-of-the-art design and engineering to interiors and structures manufacture, integration and certification using its FAA ODA Authority.  Typical Aerosystems projects include interior reconfigurations, flight avionics retrofits, IFE integration, mechanical system changes, STC development, airframe structural modifications and kitting services.  In addition, through its Brice Seating unit, the company is able to support the world’s leading airlines with innovative seating design and manufacturing.
